Affiliate Disclosure

Effective: April 10, 2026

The Short Version

Venn Travel may earn a commission when you book accommodations or travel services through links on this site. This never affects the price you pay. Our matching results are based solely on your group's preferences — not on which booking partner pays us more.

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and the Canadian Competition Bureau's guidance on influencer marketing and affiliate relationships.

How We Make Money

Venn Travel is free to use. We don't charge you, we don't run banner ads, and we don't sell your data. We support the site through affiliate relationships with hotel booking platforms. Here's how that works:

  1. You (and your group, if you have one) answer a short preference quiz.
  2. Our matching engine analyzes those preferences and recommends a resort.
  3. The result page includes booking links to our current booking partners.
  4. If you click one of those links and complete a booking, the partner pays us a small commission — typically 3–6% of the booking value.
  5. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go to the partner directly. The commission comes out of the partner's marketing budget, not yours.

How We Choose Which Resort to Recommend

This is the part that matters most, so we want to be explicit: the resort we recommend is determined entirely by how well it matches your group's stated preferences — food style, drink quality, pool and beach preferences, resort size, deal-breakers, budget, and kids' needs. Our matching engine runs the same analysis regardless of which booking partners carry that property.

We do not rank, re-order, or prefer resorts based on commission rates. We do not accept payments from resorts to be featured in results. If a resort happens to be available only on a lower-commission platform, we still recommend it if it's the best fit.

To verify this for yourself: run the quiz with different preferences and you'll see the recommendations change based on the answers, not based on which partner offers the best payout.

How We Choose Which Booking Link to Show

Once a resort is recommended, we show a booking link to Expedia — our only active affiliate partner at this time. We do not hide cheaper options to earn a higher commission. If you find a better price on a platform we don't link to, book it there. The goal is for your group to enjoy the trip, not for us to extract the maximum commission on every click.

As we add more partners in the future, we'll show multiple booking options so you can compare.

Which Partners We Work With

As of April 2026, Venn Travel has one active affiliate relationship:

That's the complete list. We do not currently have active affiliate relationships with Booking.com, Agoda, Hotels.com, or any other hotel booking platform. This list will grow as we add partners, and we'll update this page whenever it changes. When you click a booking link, the destination URL makes the partner clear before you commit.

What We Will Not Do

Questions

If anything on this page is unclear, or if you have questions about how a specific recommendation was generated, email us at hello@venn.travel. We'll answer honestly.
